Chapter7 Setup for the VMware ESXi5 server

7.1 Setup Flow

Setup by the following setup procedures:

Connect the management PC on which NEC ESMPRO Manager is installed and the VMware ESXi5

server as a managed component on the same network.

Configure BMC on the VMware ESXi5 server if you want to manage the management controller.

7.2 Configure BMC on the Managed Component

Configure BMC on the VMware ESXi5 server if you want to manage the management controller.

In case that the VMware ESXi5 server in which EXPRESSSCOPE ENGINE3 is integrated:

In case that the VMware ESXi5 server in which a BMC excluding EXPRESSSCOPE ENGINE3 is

integrated:

7.3 Register the managed component on NEC ESMPRO

Set the “Self Signed Certificate” to “ Allowed” on “Network” tab of “Environment”.
