1. Save NEC ESMPRO Manager installer into any directory, and uncompress it.

4. Input of the http connector port.

A message to confirm whether you specify the http connector port that NEC ESMPRO Manager

uses is displayed.

If you specify them, input "yes" and "Enter" key. And then input the unused port number.

Note

If you input “no” in this installing procedure immediately after uninstalling NEC ESMPRO Manager, the

following message may be displayed. In this case, try it again later.

“The entered http connect port has already been used. Enter the un used port.”

5. Confirmation for change preservation directory of update package.

A message to confirm whether you specify the directory where update packages are stored is displayed. If

you specify them, input "yes" and "Enter" key. And then input the directory path.

6. Enter the administrator name and the password.

A message to register an administrator of NEC ESMPRO Manager is displayed. Enter the administrator

name and password.

Note

• Specify the administrator name with 1 to 16 alphanumeric characters, and the password with 6 to 16

alphanumeric characters.

• Administrator name is the user name to operate NEC ESMPRO Manager with the administrator authority.

7. The installation completes.

When the installation is completed, the following message is displayed:

"Installation of NEC ESMPRO Manager is now completed."

“Installation” in “chapter 4 1.1 NEC ESMPRO Manager”.
